Painted outlet covers, shell ornaments and one-off special orders — the small commissions, with a quick turnaround.

Outlet and switch covers are painted to vanish into the tile or stone around them — the sort of detail nobody notices until they see the alternative. Specialty paint is used for endurance and beauty, and any design or colour is possible: everything is freehanded on site, with the colours mixed to match your backsplash in the room it lives in. They start at $30 per single cover with a $125 minimum; doubles, triples and switch plates cost more.

Hand-painted silk scarves are $35 each, painted with dyes on silk — the same technique Jenny teaches in her silk classes. Ask what is made up at the moment, or have one painted in your colours.

Shell ornaments are painted on the Venus Sunray shell, found on the beaches of Southwest Florida, then rimmed in gold and finished with a hanging cord, ready to give or to keep. Prices start at $30, or $50 for a specific image you ask for — a particular beach, a particular day. Pet ornaments on a clam shell, painted from a photograph of your own dog, are usually $40. Order yours for gift giving or for yourself, any time of year.

Past commissions include a watercolour of feluccas on the Nile, framed under glare-free glass, and a 4′ × 5′ oil painted as a memento of a couple's Camino pilgrimage from France to Spain.
